Batumi drive-by

I often look at pictures from various trips, especially those which have good photographic coverage but I have poor memories from them, at least speaking of the visual aspect. My trip to Georgia was one of those. Hard to believe it's already been one and a half year, altought big changes here and back there seem to prove that.  One of the best memories I have from that time is the jurney to Batumi, a former Soviet and now a Georgian resort, located just a few kilometers from the Turkish border, where Soviet, Turkich and local influences overlap. This series was made during a bus ride from the northern end of the town to Gonio, on the southern outskirts. The beach there is stuffed between the Black Sea and the mountains covered with deep, lush, dark green forest. The following photos, perhaps, reflect the atmosphere of that day most accuarately.
